-1 lb. Crawfish

-7 Tablespoons of butter, cut into 1 tablespoon pieces

-1/2 Cup Nonna D's Olive Pit Elderberry Balsamic Vinegar

-2 Tablespoons chopped garlic

-Salt and pepper to taste

-Lemon wedges (optional)

Directions

1) Taking your shelled shrimp, peal and devein them. Rinse them to get rid of any residue and dry well with a paper towel. After they are thoroughly dried, set them aside.

2) Put a colander or a large strainer into a bowl and set aside close by. In a large skillet, set to high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. When the butter begins to froth, add the shrimp and crawfish to the skillet, season well with salt and pepper. Continuously stir the shrimp and crawfish, allowing to slightly brown. Take them out when the shrimp has an opaque color and the crawfish are red. May taste one to ensure done cooking.

3) Remove the pan from the heat and transfer the cooked shrimp/crawfish to the colander using a slotted spoon. Cover them loosely with foil and set aside.

4) Using the liquid created from cooking the shrimp/crawfish, use 1 - 2 teaspoons from the pan, while pouring out the rest. Set the pan back to high heat and add the remaining butter, allowing it to lightly brown (about 2 minutes).

5) After the butter has begun to brown, add Nonna D's Olive Pit Elderberry Balsamic Vinegar to the pan and begin to combine the mixture. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens and appears to have a glaze-like consistency. The sauce will amount to roughly 1/2 cup.

6) Turn off the heat and stir in the shrimp/crawfish, coat them lightly in the sauce, taste, season, and serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.

7) Enjoy and let us know how you liked it!
